In the Annual Statutes (also called Statutes of Québec or S.Q.), you will find all the laws enacted by the Québec Parliament over the course of a year. Some of these annual statutes, i.e., those that are of a general and permanent nature or used on a regular basis, are included in the Compilation of Québec Laws and Regulations (R.S.Q.). Other laws are only published in the Annual Statutes.

All laws and regulations must be published. They are released weekly in part II of the Gazette officielle du Québec which, as the name indicates, is the Government of Québec’s official newspaper where all official decisions are published.
