Polytechnique students and staff can borrow laptops to use in the Library. MS Office, Antidote (a grammar checker and writing assistant in French), and the bibliographic management tool EndNote are installed on these computers.
The members of the Polytechnique community can use the Library workstations by signing in with their ID and password. The walk-in users can request a guest account at the Circulation Desk to be able to use the workstations. This account will be valid for the day.
You can borrow and reserve books with your Polytechnique ID card (student card). Consult the web page Borrowing Documents for information on check out terms and conditions.
You can reserve online a document borrowed by another user. To do this, in the Library catalogue, click "My Account" and sign in, find the respective book and click "Reserve Document".
You will receive an email notification when the document becomes available and you will be able to retrieve it at the Library Circulation Desk during the next five days.
Loans can be renewed up to five times. After the last authorized extension, the document must be returned to the Library.
