More and more universities have created institutional repositories for enabling access to their research community's publications. These repositories contain articles, theses, dissertations, technical reports, and other documents. A list of institutional repositories is presented in the Finding tab of this guide.
Several Canadian universities have adopted policies encouraging their researchers to publish in open access. Some of these universities have even established a fund to support researchers in paying the fees charged by publishers to make their articles available in open access.
