To obtain the current list of mandatory and recommended textbooks and course notes for a particular course, please refer to the guide Manuels de cours, quiz et examens (in French).
The Library keeps two copies of course notes published at Polytechnique Montréal. Copy 2 can be borrowed, while copy 1 must remain for onsite consultation.
To find course notes, search in the Library’s catalogue following the steps below:
On the homepage of the Library’s website, enter the course number for the notes in question in the search field under “Books,” OR enter the course name, followed by the word « cours » (in French), as illustrated below:
The two copies of the course notes in paper format are located in the GOUV section (Government Publications).
Look at the document’s classification number. If copy 2 is out, you can consult copy 1 on site at the Library.
Please note that some professors do not publish their course notes. In such cases, you may be able to access the course notes elsewhere, for example:
