Within Consolidated Acts you will find Acts enacted by the Parliament of Canada. Consolidated Acts include all amendments applied to an Act since its first publication.

Consolidated Acts are updated regularly.

In the Annual Statutes, you will find the Public Statutes enacted by the federal government over the course of a year.

Within Consolidated Regulations you will find regulations enacted by the Parliament of Canada. Consolidated Regulations include all amendments applied to a regulation since its first publication.

All laws and regulations must be published. Enacted statutes are published in part III of the Canada Gazette  which, as the name indicates, is the official newspaper of the Government of Canada. Official regulations, however, are published in part II of the Canada Gazette.
