You have just found the perfect image and want to use it. Now what?

Even though it is very easy to find images on the Internet, it is not always clear if you are allowed to use them.

This guide, created by librarians for the members of the Polytechnique community, presents the most frequently encountered issues of using images.

In this guide, you will also find answers to your questions about using images in an article or book published through a publishing house or in a dissertation or thesis.

A section on image use in pedagogical material will be later developed.
