Evaluation criteria

The criteria listed below may serve as guidelines for assessing the reliability of documents:

  • Author(s) notoriety;
  • Author(s) affiliation(s);
  • Relevance of the references cited to support the argumentation;
  • Currency of information according to the year of publication or copyright ©;
  • Information accuracy;
  • Quality of the presentation and writing (form and content);
  • Level of language used: excessively or insufficiently technical;
  • Inclusion of graphs, histograms, schemes, and images.
