Features records including publications of the Geological Survey of Canada and the Canada Centre for Remote Sensing, topographic maps, and external publications authored by ESS scientists and specialists. Data comes in two types: raster or vector. "Also provides links to publications available online or for free download (GeoPub and MIRAGE), as well as other information regarding ESS programs, and ordering publications." (Natural Resources Canada, 2013).

SIGÉOM is a spatial reference geomining information system created by the MERN. The «Examine» database contains geoscientific documentation published by the MERN and its predecessors and allows users to visualize a substantial number of reports and maps. There is also a map interface linked to the database “Examine” which allows users to see the geographic location of the documents.
